Anand Ganesan R

Founder, Green Earth Makers (GEM)

Anand Ganesan R, the Founder of Green Earth Makers (GEM), is highly committed to making this planet greener, cleaner, and greater. For AGR, environmental sustainability is where Mother Earth meets Humanity and it begins with something as simple as watering three to six plants a day.

His childhood struggles, entrepreneurial hardships, and rock-bottom moments inspired him to turn pain into not just power, but purpose. Through the SIP (Social Impact Partner) program of Green Earth Makers, he is making changes at both grassroots levels and in global social entrepreneurship.

Under the SIP program, Anand Ganesan R runs five initiatives:

VIDHAI: throwing one billion seed balls by 2045.ELAI: Inspiring the next generation to water three to six plants a day.UYIR: bridging the gap between hospitals and emergency response through more ambulances, emergency response auto and first aid kits through sponsorship and other brands.KALABHAIRAV: caring for pet animals through random acts of kindness.AGNEE: inspiring college students through leaders, celebrities, and entrepreneurs.

AGR is also the author of "The 65th Square" — World Peace Through the Game of Chess, uncovering essential leadership strategies and life lessons through sport. His 18+ years of corporate and leadership experience spans BNP Paribas, TATA, Cognizant, Virtusa, and IBM.

At the heart of everything he does is a simple belief to make this planet greener, cleaner, and greater than we found it, and to build a system that is self-sustainable yet highly collaborative. Everything he has learned, built, succeeded at, failed at, and bounced back with reflects his grit, courage, and wisdom.
